Gnana Oli :
Gnana Oli magazine started its first publication in 1958 ,from Sri Gnanananda Thapovanam , blessed and commenced by Sathguru Sri Gnananda Giri Swamigal .
Swamigal directly formed a Publishing Board and appointed Sri Mukundananda Saraswathi Swamigal as Editor and President of the Board .
Sri Mukundananda Saraswathi Swamigal , originally a disciple of Rishikesh Swami Sivananda Saraswathi, started residing at Thapovanam due to health reasons after approval from his Guru Swami Sivananda and acceptance by Sathgurunathar as a disciple for Spiritual training.
Sri Mukundananda, as a Sanyasi, apart from receiving spiritual training directly from Sathgurunathar, also was doing devoted service at Thapovanam directly instructed by Swami .
Swami with great concern felt that people are oblivious of the presence of their own life’s inner light and suffering immersed in the darkness of ignorance and Maya. Inorder to dispel the spiritual darkness a bright guiding light is required .
Swami emphasised that this realisation of the truth can guide them to spiritual eternal bliss! The purpose of the publication of Gnana oli magazine, in the own words of our Swami, is for the benefit of everyone to lead a life full of the inseparable eternal bliss .
Swami very kindly issued a strong Spiritual message, as above, inaugurating the publishing of the first issue of the Gnana Oli Magazine in 1958.
The magazine continued its publication successfully for more than 5 years under watchful eyes of Swami and with the Grace and Blessings of Swami .
It is learnt that Swami personally used to review the contents of every issue of Magazine and accord approval prior to publication .
Due to some administrative reasons and constraints the publication of the printed magazine could not continue. At that time, it is learnt that Swami told that the Magazine will recommence publication at an appropriate time in future.
In accordance to the above prophetic words of Swami, the recommencement of the publication started in 1982 under the sincere effort of Sivakasi Sri Rajamanickam Nadar of Sri Gnanananda Mission .
Gnana Oli successfully continued its publication as Monthly magazine from Thapovanam, by the Grace and Blessings of our Swami Sathguru Sri Gnanananda Giri, for a long 42 years, registered as Newspaper under rules of Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI ) of PRB Act 1876, Government of India .
On the the basis of request from the Management of Sri Gnanananda Mission, since February 2022, Sadguru Swami Sri Gnanananda Giri Memorial Trust also associated in the publication of Gnana Oli Magazine and continued the publication upto January 2024 .
Subsequently since January 2024 Gnana Oli Magazine is being published from Thapovanam, as a publication by Sadguru Swami Sri Gnanananda Giri Memorial Trust, Sri Gnanananda Thapovanam ,Thapovanam, following due legal process as per above rules of RNI of PRB Act -1867, Government of India .

ஆன்மீகக் கருத்துகளை தொகுத்து வழங்கும் ஞான மஞ்சரி
ஞான ஒளி காட்டிய ஞான வழி
ஸற்குருநாதர் பக்தர்களை அவரவர்கள் கர்ம வினைப்படி தபோவனத்திற்க்கு வாவென்று அன்புடன் அழைத்து அருள்மழை பொழிவது அனைவரும் உணர்ந்து அனுபவித்தது அறிந்ததே. ஸற்குருநாதராலேயே பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு ஆன்மீக ஒளி உலகெங்கும் பரவ ஆக்ஞையிட்டு, அவர்தன் அருளாசியை பதிவு செய்து அவர் தம் திருக்கரங்களாலேயே முதல் பிரதியை வெளியிட்டு ஒளி கூட்டப்பட்ட சஞ்சிகைதான் ஞான ஒளி.
1958 ஆம் ஆண்டு …. …ஶ்ரீஸற்குரு ஞானானந்த கிரி ஸ்வாமிகளின் ஆக்ஞையின் படி ஶ்ரீமுகுந்தானந்த ஸரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமி அவர்களை ஆசிரியராகக் கொண்டு “ஞான ஒளி ” வெளியிடப்பட்டது .
அப்போது, ஸற்குருநாதரவர்கள் ஞான ஒளி பதிப்புக் குழு என்று அமைத்து அதன் தலைவராகவும், ஆசிரியராகவும் ஶ்ரீமுகுந்தானந்த ஸரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள் அவர்களை நியமித்திருந்தார். ஶ்ரீ முகுந்தானந்த சரஸ்வதி சுவாமி அவர்கள் ரிஷிகேசம் ஸ்வாமி ஶ்ரீ சிவானந்த ஸரஸ்வதி அவர்களிடம் சந்நியாச தீட்ஷை பெற்றவர். ஶ்ரீ சிவானந்தரின் வழிகாட்டுதலின் படி, தபோவனத்தில் நிரந்தரமாக தங்கி ஶ்ரீ ஸற்குரு ஞானானந்த கிரி ஸ்வாமிகளிடம் ஆன்மிக பயிற்சி பெற்று வந்தார் .
ஞான ஒளி சஞ்சிகை தொடங்கப்பட்டு
ஸற்குரு ஸ்ரீ ஞானானந்தரின் அருளாசியுடனும் அவரின் சீரிய வழிகாட்டுதலின் படியும் தொடர்ந்து ஐந்தாறு ஆண்டுகள் வெளிவந்தது . பிறகு நிர்வாகக் காரணங்களால் தொடர முடியவில்லை .
இதனை அறிந்த ஶ்ரீ ஸற்குருநாதர் அப்போது தீர்க்கதரிசனத்துடன் ஆசியளித்து, “இதனைப் பற்றி இப்போது கவலை கொள்ளத் தேவையில்லை. தகுந்த நேரம் வரும்போது, ஞான ஒளி சஞ்சிகை மீண்டும் துவங்கி ஒளிரும்” என்று உரைத்தாக அறிகிறோம் .
ஸற்குருவின் அருள்வாக்கின் படி , சிவகாசி ஶ்ரீ ராஜமாணிக்க நாடாரின் சீரிய முயற்சியினால் மீண்டும் ஞான ஒளி சஞ்சிகை 1982 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஒளிரத் தொடங்கியது,
ஶ்ரீஞானானந்தா மிஷன் என்ற அறக்கட்டளையினால்!
இந்திய அரசாங்க பத்திரிகை பதிவுச் சட்டம்,(Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI) rules of PRB Act -1867) கீழ் முறையாக பதிவு செய்து, தொடர்ந்து 42 ஆண்டுகளாக ஞான ஒளி மாதந்தோறும் வெளியிடப்பட்டு ஆன்மீக ஒளி பரப்பி வந்தது.
இதன் பிறகு ஶ்ரீஞானானந்தா மிஷன் நிர்வாகிகளின் வேண்டுகோளின்படி பிப்ரவரி 2022 இல் தொடங்கி ஶ்ரீஞானானந்த மிஷனுடன், ஸத்குரு ஸ்வாமி ஶ்ரீ ஞானானந்த கிரி மெமோரியல் டிரஸ்டும இணைந்து ஞான ஒளி பதிப்பிப்பதில் செயல்பட்டு, வெளியிட்டு வந்தது .
பின்பு ஜனவரி 2024 முதல் இந்திய அரசாங்க பத்திரிகை பதிவுச் சட்டம் (Registrar of Newspapers for India rules of PRB Act 1867) வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றி , தபோவனத்திலிருந்து ஸத்குரு ஸ்வாமி மெமோரியல் டிரஸ்ட் வெளியீடாக ஞான ஒளி சஞ்சிகை தொடர்ந்து மாதந்தோறும் சிறப்பாக வெளியிடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தொடர்ந்து 44 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக ஞான ஒளி இதழ் ஆன்மீக ஒளி பரப்பி வருகின்றது.
